HEART BREAKING NEWS: Penn State He won ‘t play again

Does Penn State have a game today? Schedule for the Nittany Lions’ next college football game following their Week 3 bye

Penn State’s 2024 football season hasn’t been expected, if nothing else.

With a preseason rating of No. 9 in the US LBM Coaches Poll, the Big Ten expansion that would save them from having to face both Ohio State and Michigan every year, as well as the prospect of a 12-team College Football Playoff, the Nittany Lions went into the season with high expectations.

The season began with James Franklin and his team making a strong impression, as they defeated West Virginia 34–12 on the road, despite the fact that the Mountaineers were the popular upset favorite. Drew Allar made an impression in his first game under new offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki, throwing for 216 yards and three touchdowns on just 17 attempts, following a lackluster sophomore campaign.

A week later, though, the Nittany Lions were favored to win by five touchdowns at home against Bowling Green, and Penn State was behind by four at halftime. Nevertheless, they managed to pull away for a close 34-27 victory.

At this early juncture in the season, it will take more games and a larger sample size to get a better idea of which version of Penn State is closer to its true self — the one that throttled a motivated Power Four opponent in a hostile road environment or one that struggled to put away a Mid-American Conference program that hasn’t won more than seven games in a season in nearly a decade?

Will that question start to be answered this week? Here’s what you need to know about Penn State and its schedule for Week 3 of the college football season:
