CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) – A handful of school districts in the Charlotte region have rescheduled football games this week, while others continue to monitor the forecast ahead of Tropical Storm Helene’s arrival.
District that have already announced schedule changes include those in Catawba and Burke counties in North Carolina, and Lancaster County in South Carolina.

Draughn’s varsity game moved to Thursday night (Homecoming moved to Oct. 4)
Middle school game between River Bend and Northview canceled with a reschedule date to be determined
JV games between St. Stephens and North Iredell, Bandys and East Burke, and Fred T. Foard and West Iredell moved to Wednesday evening
JV game between Bunker Hill and West Caldwell moved to Monday, Sept. 30
JV game between Maiden and West Lincoln canceled with a reschedule date to be determined
Varsity game between Bunker Hill and West Caldwell moved to Saturday evening at West Caldwell
Varsity game between Bandys and East Burke moved to Saturday afternoon
Varsity game between Maiden and West Lincoln moved to Saturday afternoon
