
Georgia Lands Highly Touted Playmaker Over Rival

The Georgia Bulldogs haven’t lost to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets since 2016. The Bulldogs didn’t lose a recent recruiting battle either. On3’s Jake Reuse reported on March 15 the Bulldogs received a verbal commitment from four-star Cartersville, Ga., wide receiver Brady Marchese. “It was kind of unbelievable, I couldn’t really believe it,” Marchese told On3. “It meant a lot to me being a Georgia boy and having that happen to me meant a lot…It’s Georgia, they’ll always sit pretty high in my recruitment. I want to get up there and see what it’s about and get into it a little more than what I know about it already.”
According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Marchese is a top 50 Georgia recruit for the 2026 class. Marchese is also a top 70 wide receiver prospect and top 500 recruit overall in the 2026 class according to the composite rankings.
