Marques Easley, Georgia OL, arrested on reckless driving charges following suspension

Georgia football suspended players Marques Easley and Nitro Tuggle on Thursday following separate occasions of reckless driving. Soon after, the situation became a little more complicated for the Bulldogs OL.
Easley was arrested on Friday at 4:35 p.m. and released just under 30 minutes later on a $1,000 bond. He was charged with reckless driving and reckless conduct.
According to the crash report, Easley was driving in a “reckless regard” and lost control of his vehicle, which careened into a power box before hitting another vehicle parked in a driveway. The force of the crash sent the vehicle Easley hit into another vehicle on the driveway while Easley’s car struck the front of the garage door and building.
The report also states that Easley told responding officers that he was driving “between 25 and 30 MPH” – which the officers determined to be an inaccurate approximation. According to 247Sports, Georgia cornerback Ondre Evans was also involved in the crash, though he suffered no injuries.
247Sports listed Easley as a former 4-star prospect in the Class of 2024, considered to be the No. 254 prospect in the cycle. He saw limited minutes this past season against Tennessee Tech and UMass.
