Last night, the tennis star stepped out for the 2024 Baby2Baby Gala, which supports the nonprofit in providing resources to children living in poverty. She opted for a daring number seemingly constructed from fabric scraps, pulling off the deconstructed look with ease for the annual soirée, which took place at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California.
The quirky gown, from Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2024 collection, featured an asymmetrical gray knit layered atop a white base. A shredded gray skirt added a feathered appearance to the ensemble, extending down on either side of Osaka’s legs. An additional layer of white fabric, outlined by black piping, stuck out of her skirt to give it a final flourish.
Osaka fully leaned in to the bold, glam look. She wore her hair in teased-out curls and accentuated her eyes with sparkling silver eyeshadow. Glowing highlights and nude lipstick rounded out her makeup, and her accessories added an extra dose of glimmer. A pair of silver chandelier earrings stuck out from her voluminous ’do, while a pair of strappy silver heels completed her ensemble.
As she walked onto the playing area, Osaka rocked a green and white ensemble courtesy of Ambush in collaboration with Nike. Specially designed by Yoon Ahn, the fit featured fluorescent green elements that slightly resembled the optic color of a tennis ball, while also winking at the shade of the summer: brat green.
Ahead of the tennis match, Osaka really leaned into coquettishness with a white training jacket that featured a ginormous green bow attached to the back. She also sported a green Velcro miniskirt with a pearly tulle petticoat underneath, which she stripped off, along with her jacket, once the game began. (As an added touch, even her Beats headphones were covered in bows.)
