Fabrizio Romano reporter confirms Wolves in talks for £53m-rated midfielder

Fabrizio Romano drops big Wolves transfer update with £21m deal now close

Wolves have been in Carabao Cup action tonight, but things have also been happening away from the pitch.

The transfer window is closing 48 hours and Wolves fans are hoping that Gary O’Neil will have a few new additions to boast of when all is said and done.

With several people leaving, it’s going to be a wild finish.

One player who has been connected to Wolves recently is Andre, a midfielder for Fluminense.

And although Wolves are playing Burnley at Molineux this evening, there has been a significant development involving the Brazilian.

Midfielder André from Fluminense is nearing a move to Wolves.

The best journalist in the game, Fabrizio Romano, has given a few updates on Wolves’ pursuit of Andre over the last hour or so.

“Wolves are closing in on deal to sign André from Fluminense, talks are at final stages!” he posted in his first message on X tonight. Talks for €22 million plus €3 million in add-ons are progressing, according to @geglobo. Specifics are being talked about to complete it.

Then, in a different message, Romano wrote, “André to Wolves, almost there.” Once the last details are sorted, we can proceed.

Globo Esporte had announced the Wolves and Andre breakthrough earlier in the evening.

The addition of Andre might have an effect on a few Wolves players.
