The late musician Mohbad’s father Joseph Aloba and his late wife Wunmi were formerly quite close, as seen by an old video that has surfaced online and sparked discussion.
It’s no longer news that the late singer’s father and his wife did not get along after the singer Mohbad passed away.
In testimony given before the Lagos Coroner’s court, Mohbad’s father claimed that during Wunmi’s lifetime, she had been extremely unfaithful to him. He claimed that Mohbad had previously told him that Wunmi would sometimes add sleeping pills to noodles for him and then go to another room in their shared home to sleep with a signee.
The late singer’s father also insisted on a DNA test for Mohbad’s son Liam to know if his late son is truly the father of Liam and not the otherwise information making the rounds online that Wunmi’s child Liam is for Sam Larry.
However, Wunmi has denied all the allegation levelled against him by his father-in-law as she averred that Mohbad’s father thought that she was causing a rift between him and Mohbad, which resulted in their strained relationship.
Omowunmi disclosed that her relationship with her father-in-law, Oladimeji Aloba, soured following the arrival of her son, Liam noting that they used to be very close. She noted that Mohbad’s father grew upset with her because Mohbad chose not to hold Liam’s naming ceremony in Ikorodu.
However, a video of Wunmi and Mohbad’s dad vibing together in their white garments as they walk through triggers reactions online.
