Adeniyi Johnson was born on February 27, 1978, in Lagos, Nigeria.
He was born and reared in Lagos’ Ikotun neighborhood.
In the Yoruba-populated state of Lagos, he was born into a middle-class family.

Adeniyi Johnson began his educational journey by studying mass communication at the Polytechnic of Ibadan (Ibadan Poly).

Adeniyi Johnson began her acting career by performing in church. His enthusiasm developed from there, and he went on to seek a career in acting following graduation.
However, it was after his appearance in the renowned Mnet TV series Tinsel that he made his acting breakthrough. He left Tinsel after much thought to join the Yoruba portion of Nollywood due to a lack of recognition.
