Congratulations pour as singer 9ice is honored with chieftaincy title in Ogun State

Congratulations flood in as In Ogun State, renowned musician Alexander Abolore Akande, better known by his stage name 9ice, was bestowed with an honorary chieftaincy title.

9ice announced this wonderful news in a number of posts on his social media accounts. He was shown his appreciation to the Oba by giving him the royal embroidered headgear in the photos.

His caption read, “AAA. AARE AMULUDUN IJOFIN KINGDOM. IPOKIA. YEWA. THANKS TO HRM OBA MORUF AWODE. AND THE ENTIRE FAMILY IF GUSANU AND THE PEOPLE OF IJOFIN KINGDOM.YEWA OGUN STATE. THANK YOU KABIYESI. HRM OBA MORUF AWODE. OLOLO OF IJOFIN KINGDOM.”

The singer’s new title Aare Amuludun Ijofin Kingdom, a fitting name for a musician like himself, translates to chief entertainer of Ijofin Kingdom. 9ice’s fans and well wishers have since flooded him with congratulatory messages, good will and traditional greetings, fitting for his new role.

In other news Congratulations pour in for Nigerian actor Lateef Adedimeji, as he was honoured a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Arts and Culture from Estam University, Benin Republic.

Announcing this exciting news, Lateef Adedimeji took to his social media platform to share clips as he’s being honoured with the degree while showing gratitude to the management and staff of the prestigious university.

He wrote,”I was moved to tears as I got adorned in this beautiful robe.I have never been interested in fame, I just wanted to be happy with my craft and the lives that I inspire.
