Sheila Courage, the spouse of singer Davido’s personal logistics manager, Isreal DMW, has confirmed the dissolution of their marriage. Speculations had been circulating on the internet about the couple’s relationship being in trouble, with reports suggesting that Sheila returned her bride price and moved back to her parents’ house. Controversial Instagram blogger, Gistlover, alleged that the couple’s marriage had ended due to claims of domestic violence. The blog further claimed that Sheila already had another partner before her father intervened, urging her to marry Isreal DMW due to his financial resources and connections with Davido, only for the marriage to be a facade. The confirmation of their separation brings clarity to the rumors surrounding their marriage. Sheila first fueled separation rumours with her unromantic birthday message to him. Now confirming it, Sheila Courage had blasted the 002 performing artiste, after she shared a photo of them from their traditional marriage, calling her his wife. Replying him, Sheila stated that it’s only in his dreams she is his wife. “In your fucking dreams”.
Recall that Gistlover claimed that the marriage between Isreal and Sheila wasn’t one based on love but on money. Gistlover claimed that Sheila had a lover before she was coerced into marrying Isreal by her father.
Online sleuths had dug out the identity of her ex-lover, Prince Amec, from a 2020 Facebook post where he sweetly celebrated Sheila Courage’s birthday. Calling her several romantic names, he described Sheila as the most amazing friend he has ever had as he stated that he would forever bless the day they cross part. Isreal and Sheila tied the knot on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at a traditional ceremony that was held in Benin City, where the couple hail from.
Two days after the traditional wedding, the couple held their white wedding which had in attendance Davido, Chioma, Cubana Chief Priest, and the DMW crew.
