The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, on Friday gave an update into the ongoing investigation of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad.
Owohunwa disclosed that the police had identified a total of 26 witnesses and 5 suspects.
The CP disclosed this while giving an update on the singer’s death.
He also disclosed that five suspects have been interrogated.
“So far 26 witnesses have been identified in the ongoing investigation of Mohbad.
“Five suspects have so far been interrogated in relation to the ongoing investigation,” he said.
The names of the suspects include, Mrs Feyisayo Ogendengbe, the auxiliary nurse who was contacted by Ayobami Sodiq known as Spending, a friend of Mohbad. Ayobami is being held in the death of Mohbad for conspiracy.
The third person is Primeboy, Mohbad childhood friend who engaged in violence with Mohbad that resulted in the late singer’s injury at a performance in Ikorodu on Septmeber 10 th 2023.
The other two prime suspects are Sam Larry and Naira Marley.
The CP said results from the autopsy and toxicology on late Mohbad’s corpse are being awaited.

“She is the principal suspect in the death of Mohbad. She acknowledged that it was the injection she administered on the deceased that triggered the reactions which eventually led to Mohbad’s death. Other experts’ opinions and witnesses statements corroborated her admittance.”
“The commissioner also added that: “Her actions of administering doses of Tetanus toxoid, paracetamol, intravenous and cetrazone injection which was also administered intravenous on Mohbad at his residence on 12th September 2023, immediate triggered the reaction including vomitting, goose bumps and convulsion that eventually resulted in the singer’s death”.
