Korra Obidi, a well-known dancer from Nigeria and social media star, was devastated to learn that she would not be granted US citizenship.
Obidi, who wed an American citizen, had spent the previous few years residing in the country with her two kids and ex-husband, Justin Dean.
But the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) recently rejected her application for citizenship.
The musician, 32, who was born in Delta State, uploaded a video of her emotional reaction to the letter telling her of the US refusal, even though the reasons for the denial are still unknown.
