If I’m returning any money, I’ll return the $96,400 to football charity not you – Davido to Amaju Pinnick

Award-Winning Nigerian singer David Adeleke professionally known as Davido drags former NFF president to filth while recalling how he misappropriated Nigerian footballers’ allowance.

Recall Intel Region had earlier reported that Amaju Pinnick called out Davido for refusing to perform at this year’s Warri Again festival despite allegedly receiving a payment of $94,600 and the organisers booking a private jet for him for $18,000.

Davido had earlier taken to his page on the X platform stating that he would hold back without speaking his mind on the issue while adding that nobody can stop him from performing anywhere in Nigeria.

In a series of Instagram story posts, Davido wrote;

He wrote; “The man that dropped from the RR is Amaju Pinnick. he was NFF president for just 8 years. He was charged for allegedly misappropriating $8.4m paid by FIFA to NFF. I wont mention allegations of unpaid allowances by players when he was the president. Let’s play a game.”
