The remains of Mrs Juliana Balogun, the mother of popular Nigerian singer Wizkid has been finally laid to rest and the video showing the moment she was taken to her final resting place sparked reactions.
Recall igbohoconnectnews reported that Wizkid lost his biological mother to the cold hands of death on August 18th 2023. Wizkid’s manager, Sunday Are, confirmed this heartbreaking news.
Following his arrival into the country, the candlelight procession for Wizkid’s mother took place on Wednesday, October 11th 2023 and the wake keep service was held yesterday, October 12th 2023.
During the wake keep service, Wizkid breaks into tears as he expressed the profound pain of losing his mother, stating, “The pain is profound. It hurts deeply. The deepest pain I’ve ever felt in my life. I’m lost but I pray God will comfort everyone of us.”
Today, October 13th 2023 a video capturing the moment when Mrs. Balogun’s remains were taken to her final resting place has emerged on the internet, erupting heartfelt responses.
The video shows Wizkid holding his first son, Bolu who in turn was seen holding his younger brother, Zion.
