Ileriouluwa Oladimeji Aloba, a late Nigerian artist better known by his stage name Mohbad’s Aunty, has clarified rumors that his mother abandoned him as a child.
After the singer’s passing, according to Igboho connect News o, rumors began to circulate that the singer’s mother had abandoned him and his older sister after her failed marriage to their father.
In a video that Instablog9ja was able to obtain, her younger sister refuted the claims by recalling how Mohbad’s mother supported him throughout his suffering with Naira Marley.
She claims that the singer’s mother only agreed to jointly care for him and his older sister after he refused to let her take the other children.
She noted how Mohbad’s mother was there for him during his trials with his former label boss, Naira Marley, and how she stood by him and his wife when they welcomed their son.

Reacting to it, many noted how the mother was present alongside their father, to beg Naira Marley during their dispute.
