BREAKING NEWS: Georgia Bulldogs has finally completed replacement of

Georgia OL pledge Dontrell Glover discusses his first visit to UF and suggests that he might go again.

Dontrell Glover, a three-star offensive lineman from Fairburn, Georgia’s Langston Hughes, received an offer from the Florida Gators in March, but he was never able to visit the school during the spring and summer. He committed

to the Georgia Bulldogs, an in-state school, at the end of June, but he hasn’t been mentioned all that much in relation to Florida recruiting. This past weekend, he traveled to Gainesville for the first time ever and saw a rivalry game to kick off the college football season.

With a 41-17 victory, the Hurricanes emerged victorious in a one-sided contest. Though the season began with a letdown, Glover saw it as an excellent opportunity to spend game day in The Swamp.

The Ray Guy Award ‘Ray’s 8’ recipient is Florida punter Jeremy Crawshaw.

The Augusta Sports Council said on Tuesday that senior punter Jeremy Crawshaw, who played in Florida’s 41-17 loss to then-No. 19 Miami on Saturday in Gainesville, won one of eight slots on the Ray Guy Award’s “Ray’s 8 List.”

Fans can vote for their favorite punters to be named Punter of the Week, and the list honors the best eight punters in the country.

In his five punt attempts against the Hurricanes, Crawshaw did not make the preseason Ray Guy Award Watch List that was made public last month. Three of his attempts were inside the opponent’s 20-yard line, including a flawless pin at the Miami 3. A 61-yard punt by Crawshaw was also successful; it was received at the Miami 7 and returned to the 14, where Florida long snapper Rocco Underwood completed the play with a spectacular tackle.
