QUOTES
“It was a really good college baseball game. I was really proud of our club in a great college baseball environment. It is incredible what East Carolina does, to put this kind of atmosphere in the ballpark on a Tuesday night. It was a Super Regional type of atmosphere and I felt like our club was really poised.” – Head coach Chris Pollard on the atmosphere and energy tonight.
“There is no hiding that there are a ton of implications since it is the only time we meet them this year. It was an important head-to-head and important road game. We have to go on the road to a good Georgia Tech team this weekend and I thought being in this atmosphere was huge. We got back on the skin after being on artificial turf for a month and thought we handled it really well.” – On the meaning of this game and preparations for Georgia Tech this weekend.
