In an exclusive interview with Stabroek Sport, GAW Team Manager Leon Johnson discussed the recent return of Afghanistan opener Ramanullah Gurbaz, who he believes will solidify the team’s opening pair. Johnson emphasized the importance of finishing in the top two, stating that it would grant the team two opportunities to reach the final.

“The mood in the camp has been positive all season, especially after our back-to-back wins,” Johnson said. “We faced two tough losses against the Royals and the Knight Riders, but bouncing back with two wins on a challenging surface really boosts our confidence.”
