The New York Yankees’ captain has played fairly well against the Los Angeles Dodgers during his career.
Aaron Judge has played 10 games against the Dodgers during his MLB career. He is a .389 hitter with 8 home runs and 11 RBIs against the Dodgers. The captain’s 1.575 OPS is his second-highest against a team, trailing his 1.751 OPS against the San Francisco Giants.
The Yankees and Dodgers will meet in the 2024 World Series. Judge has yet to play in the Fall Classic during his career.

Judge played his first series against the team in 2016 while having a cup of coffee at the major league level. A solo home run was his only hit in five at-bats during the series.
The captain made his first visit to Dodger Stadium in 2019. He hit a home run in each of the three games. The slugger also had two singles in the series opener.
Judge’s 2023 series against the Dodgers was cut short. He went 0-4 in the opener and then hit a solo homer in the next game. The outfielder went to field a fly ball in deep right field, and he crashed into the wall while trying to make the play. Judge played the rest of the game but then missed the next 42 games with a torn ligament in his toe.
The captain was fully healthy when the two teams met in 2024. He hit three home runs and two doubles as the Dodgers took two of three games at Yankee Stadium.
Game 1 of the World Series is set for Friday at 8:08 p.m. at Dodger Stadium.
