I could not tolerate it longer los angeles dodgers key player Teoscar Hernández confesses after slapping head coach Roberts in…

Teoscar Hernández will receive a second ring next season after he helped the win the 2024 World Series, but it is the first time that he truly feels like a champion.

Hernández received his first ring after the Houston Astros’ disputed victory in the 2017 World Series. Hernández had been a part of the Astros organization since 2011, when he signed with the team as an international free agent. He played 42 games for the Astros in his career, 41 of which came in 2016.

He played one game for Houston in 2017, but was hurt and placed on the injured list after colliding with teammate Jose Altuve in that contest. He was sent to the Toronto Blue Jays at the trade deadline that season, but still received a 2017 World Series ring.

Hernández finds this victory with the Dodgers and forthcoming ring immensely more gratifying after he directly contributed and was an instrumental part of the team’s success, as seen on MLB Network:

“I deserve this one. I’m going to think like that because in 2017, I was on the team but regular season, on the IL. So I wasn’t part of it because the same day I got called up that year, I got hurt. So I didn’t do anything basically. I got the ring, but this one I put a lot of effort, tried to do my best to help the team win a championship. At the end of the day we got to the World Series and won everything.”

Hernández was a huge part of the Dodgers’ offensive identity this past season, batting .272/.339/.501. He was second on the team in slugging with 32 doubles and 33 home runs, and had a knack for delivering big hits when the team needed it most.

It continued into the postseason with a .250 batting average, three home runs and 12 RBI in 60 at-bats.

Teoscar Hernández wins Silver Slugger
Hernández led all National League outfielders in home runs, slugging percentage and RBI en route to winning his third career Silver Slugger Award. It was his first in the National League after winning two with the Blue Jays in 2020 and 2021.

Upon receiving the news of his win, Hernández explained his perspective of being recognized for his offensive production once again came with added meaning.
