Former Toronto Blue Jays player Teoscar Hernandez is set to hit free agency as a World Series champion and has confirmed he wants to stay in Los Angeles.
Hernandez was part of the reason so many Blue Jays fans were rooting for the Dodgers to beat the New York Yankees in the World Series since it was so loved by fans in Toronto during his 6 years here.
Teoscar Hernandez confirms he wants to return to Los Angeles next season
The former Blue Jay was on ESPN Deportes after winning the World Series in which he stated that his priority is to return to the Dodgers and he will do everything in his power to return but that the decision in ultimately not up to him.
The Blue Jays have expressed interest in brining Hernandez back to Toronto in the off-season as they are looking to bring in players that could help improve their offense in 2025.
After an incredible 2024 season in Los Angeles, Hernandez will likely have a ton of attention from teams all around the league but it seems that his preference would be to stay with the Dodgers which is not good news for the Blue Jays.
