According to sources close to the paddock, German rider Ken Roczen may sign a contract with Ducati to compete in the AMA Supercross Championship in 2026.
This would mark Ducati’s debut season in American Supercross, and with Roczen joining the team, it could not only boost their competitiveness but also attract a broader audience, thanks to Roczen’s large fan following.
Recent reports suggest that Ducati could collaborate with Team TLD (Troy Lee Designs), which was partnered with the GasGas factory team until this year. The American team is not expected to compete in 2025, possibly to prepare for a 2026 season alongside Ducati.
A potential sponsorship conflict, however, could be challenging. Roczen is one of the prominent faces of Red Bull, a brand that has supported his career and success on the track, while Ducati traditionally partners with Monster Energy. If Roczen signs with Ducati, it’s unlikely he would part ways with Red Bull after years of sponsorship (the same consideration applies to Fox).
Other rumors from the paddock suggest that this issue might be resolved if Monster Energy decides to end its off-road partnership with Ducati, potentially allowing new sponsorship opportunities for the team and Roczen.
While these remain rumors for now, the thought of Ken Roczen riding a Ducati in the 2026 Supercross season is enough to ignite excitement among fans.
