“This is sad” – Bank marketer ends it all inside bank staff toilet due to economic hardship in Lagos

An unidentified female bank employee in Ikorodu, Lagos State, has tragically taken her own life reportedly due to economic hardships.

The woman allegedly ingested a poisonous substance within the bank’s restroom after leaving a note behind.

In the circulating note, she expressed despair over her financial struggles, citing low figures and a pervasive sense of nothing working in her life. Additionally, she conveyed a bleak outlook for the future, attributing it to the increasing economic challenges.

Confirming the death of the bank staff, an X user identified as @justsociety4all wrote; “A bank staff did this to herself today inside the bank staff toilet at Ikorodu..”
