A lot of money was recently paid for the unreleased solo album Tobias Forge, which the singer supposedly finished sometime in 2008. Like, several thousand dollars.
Since the group’s formation in 2006, Forge has served as its (masked) public face. As a result, we believed that he had been fully committed to the band’s discography the entire time. It seems that he recorded a solo album called Passiflora sometime in the late 2000s, but it was never made available.

It’s unknown if Forge knew he wanted it to be a solo project from the beginning or if he created the songs for one of the bands he was in before Ghost, like Subvision. In any case, Revolver claims that the rock musician decided to form a new group after he wrote the song “Stand by Him” in 2006. Ghost’s debut album Opus Eponymous featured that song.

While only fans who own physical copies have had a chance to hear the whole album Passiflora, some of the tracks have leaked. These two tracks are available on YouTube and can be listened to below. They are titled “House of Affection” and “In Enigma Schiffer,” respectively.
