The powerhouse of the MLB head into the 2024 offseason as champs. We’ve seen the Dodgers be able to spend at will with no penalty. It’s been the Dodger way. The team is great, but you know they want to make it better. What better way to do that than to hit free agency swinging. One of those guys could be Corbin Burnes and you know the money and chance to pitch for one of the most historic franchises in Major League Baseball is very appealing.

Any big time free agent out there I think you can expect to be getting a call from the Dodgers. Because why not? The team won their eight World Series championship this past season. This is the super team of all super teams led by Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Freddie Freeman. They sit atop while the other 29 teams chase after. Do they need Corbin Burnes? No, not really. Would it be both sides to at least test the waters? Absolutely it would.
The Dodgers could build a super rotation. Yoshinobu Yamamoto impressed a lot of his rookie year and they should be getting Tyler Glasnow back from injury. Clayton Kershaw still exists, but we can never seem to figure out his health. Oh, and by the way, Shohei Ohtani will probably be back toeing the rubber in 2025. When all are healthy, that’s a scary foursome. Walker Buehler is hitting free agency and could very easily be moving on. So out goes Buehler, in would come Burnes. Yikes! I’d pray for any team in any series that has to face any three or four of those arms.
