“We came to this life individual…”- Popular Singer Portable goes after Davido days after praising him for allegedly advising him wrongly (watch the video)

Afrobeats musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, received a lot of accolades recently. However, controversial artist Habeeb Okiliola, better known by his stage name Portable, has responded negatively to the OBO crooner, claiming that he offered him bad advice. The Zazzu Zeh pioneer claimed that Davido had given him “bad advice” on which record company to sign so that he could win Grammy Awards, which ignited the rift between Davido and Portable.

In a post on social media on Thursday, Portable claimed Davido advised him against signing with Sony Music and instead suggested Empire Music, which he (Portable) interpreted to be a hindrance to his Grammy aspirations.

Portable said he saw the advise as an act of ‘foul play’ as he, like Davido, aspires to win a Grammy and signing with Empire Music would not place him in the Grammy Awards limelight.

In response to Portable’d criticism, Davido promptly unfollowed the street musician on Instagram.

In response to the news, Portable said on Instagram that he does not want Davido’s endorsement or fan base in order to be successful as an artist or to receive a Grammy. Portable said, “They tried to destroy me and quickly unfollowed me because I stopped being beneficial to them,” in a video message posted to his Instagram page. I will go on my tour whether you support me or not, and I will win the Grammy regardless of whether you do.
