After a brutal interview with the striker’s agent, Nottingham Forest was told to “forget” about signing a £30 million striker. Although they have had success in the transfer window thus far, they will have to scramble to sign a striker before Friday’s deadline. Forest had attempted to sign Eddie Nketiah of Arsenal, who is now closing in on a move to Crystal Palace, a Premier League rival.
They subsequently focused on Santiago Gimenez of Feyenoord, but that transaction is still pending because there are rumors that he has rejected them.
It has just come to light that one of their other purported objectives for striking is expected to reject a shift to the City Ground.
The agent for Brian Brobbey seems to be ruling out a move to Nottingham Forest.
Brian Brobbey, an Ajax striker valued at £30 million, is apparently the subject of inquiries from Nottingham Forest. However, in a harsh interview, his representative quickly ruled out a move to the East Midlands.
“Brian will only leave Ajax if it is a good move,” Fortes Rodriguez stated in an interview with the Dutch publication De Telegraaf.
It is not my concern if Ajax is having financial difficulties. My player won’t be going to any old club. Everyone can move past that.
Jhon Duran, a frontman for Aston Villa who is rumored to be for sale, is someone Nottingham Forest should really take a look at. Duran was in talks to join West Ham earlier this summer, but they went with Niclas Fullkrug because he was cheaper. Therefore, there may be a chance for Forest to steal him from Villa Park for around £35–40 million.
